Chance the Cat needs a home

Hi! I am Chance.  I am a smart cookie and as you can see from my picture I am a pretty girl too.  Who wouldn't want me as their roommate!  I enjoy a good game of capture the feather.  I like to rub my face all over it when I have caught it.  I enjoy watching the birds outside at the shelter's bird feeders.  I keep track of the happenings inside the shelter as well. 



I know what I like and what I don't like.  I like people who are calm and gentle, they allow me to sniff them.  They are willing to show themselves trusty worthy by playing with me first and then petting me on my head or face.  Please do not pet my back or tummy, if you do I will remind you not to do that again.   I do not like to feel like I have been cornered. 



I am a smart girl and can understand what is going on if you tell me what you are going to be doing.  I came from a house with toddlers who did not know how to approach me and they have turned me off of children.  I require a home where there are many feather toys, good viewing windows of bird feeders, no young children, no dogs, no cats, and an experienced cat owner who understands kitties that have had a bit of a hard life and that need to learn to trust again.
